Pay it Forward Winners and More Blogger Love!

Thanks to everyone who entered my Pay it Forward contest!

After writing down all of the names and mixing them up in an old FSU baseball hat, three winners were chosen at random.  Congratulations to those who did win, and if you didn't, keep reading as I have something for you in the end.

The first is Larissa from The Larissa Monologues! Her blog is not only beautifully written, but also full of interesting nutritional information, recipes, and crafts. Her blog is adorable and very, very fun.

The second is Arielle from Good Things Come to Those Who Wine! Arielle is hilarious and insightful. I always look forward to her updates, as I think she's a fabulous writer. I wish her luck on her move away from NY.

The last is Manley from Penned Madness! I met Manley when I was 19 years old. I worked with his roommate at WaldenBooks and was invited to a party. Within the first twenty minutes of meeting him, I insulted his music taste at least seven times. He's now DJing and writing a great music blog, which makes me regret that initial mockery a little.

Congratulations to my winners! Now send me your addresses to receive your gifts!

I mentioned previously that I'm all about karma. Because of this, all of the pay it forward gifts will be coming from The Hunger Site Shop. If you haven't been there before, check it out. All of the items sold are made abroad by people in need from various countries. And their stuff? Phenomenal. Also, part of the money spent goes towards providing free food for those who need it. (To donate for free daily, go here and click the link. Also, check out the partner sites featured on the top menu.) Anyway, it may take a bit to have it all shipped to me and then out to you all, but presents will come soon enough! Make sure to send me your addresses, please!

BUT WAIT!

I really appreciate everyone who reads my blog, I truly do, so to those who didn't win, I have something for you as well. If you send me your address, you'll get an awesome Orlando post card. And who doesn't love post cards?

Thanks again for entering and, winner or not, send me your address!

On another note, thank you to Amanda from Cusp of Normal for giving me some blogger love! I really appreciate it, and if you haven't checked out her blog yet, please do! It's oh so fun to read her observations and odes to Sedaris.

After receiving the above award, I wanted to point out every blog I read that is  phenomenal, but that will take quite a while. So, instead, I'm going to concentrate on four people who have been wonderful towards my blog:

An obvious choice is Dan from Beta Narrative. Dan is amazing, his writing is amazing, and he's a nice guy! At the age of 17 he told me that touching leads to babies. For that reason alone, you should go read his blog.

Second choice goes to the lovely Barbetti. Thanks to the blogger swap, she and I have exchanged e-mails for a while and I've learned how truly awesome this girl is. She's gone through some rough patches, but she's always optimistic and insightful in the end. Also, she quoted me on her blog and I still adore her for that.

Third, Alexa from Clevelands a Plum. I'm relatively new to her blog and she's hilarious! Every post makes me smile, as do her comments she leaves on mine. Her observations are spot on and I'm very glad to have found her blog.

Last is the ever so funny and ever so awkward RS27 from Your Beard is Good. If you haven't read about him live blogging a phone call to a girl, you should. Right now. RS is awesome and I'm glad to have him as a blogging buddy. Stay tuned for our Half Deserted Beards Are Good contest, coming soon.

More blogger shout outs to come later. As for now, and I believe Amanda will appreciate this, I'm reading!

We will have our awards show and we will be revered throughout the kingdom for our genorousity!

I just watched Robin Hood.

Thanks for shout out. How do I be less awkward? Is there a class?

Jenn - aww--thank you! :)

nilsa - It's the best! I'm definitely doing it again.

alexa - Yay! Well you deserve it! You are quite awesome!

Jamie - Thank you so much!

rs27 - Is it bad that whenever I think of Robin Hood I think of a fox? Blast, Disney has done it again. As for awkwardness, I'll have to think of a class for you. There will be lessons. And tests.

I can't comment on blogger blogs from my phone (which has been my only internet access for the last week), so you can imagine my excitement to see your shout out to me on here! I'm just bummed I missed your contest! Gah! But thank you, again!
