Ross looks like your average early twenties Armenian. You know who he doesn't look like? Edward Cullen.
Apparently I'm wrong in that assumption.
With the success of Harry Potter came many copied books and inspired musicians. Bands like Harry and the Potters hit the scene and played hilarious songs, knowing full well how silly they were. Well, as we all know, Twilight has quite the following so it was only a matter of time before a band was formed.
Enter: The Bella Cullen Project
This band is, apparently, the official Twilight fan band (I'm not making this up, MTV told me). They performed at Twi-Con the other day (which, I just learned, is a real thing). They have a following. A few months ago, they filmed their first music video.
And yes, that's my friend Ross in it as Edward Cullen. Please notice how he sparkles in the sun. Ross sent it to me this weekend and I have to say, it's beyond amazing. Sure, I'm proud of him, but even he knows how hilarious it is. Samir and I aren't sure what we like more: the Voluri scene, Jasper's attack, or just how serious the singers are. They're really into it. I kind of feel bad for laughing.
But not too bad; I knew the kid since he was 14, so I'm allowed to. Watch the video and prepare to be dazzled.

I did make a song called "Twilight" but it doesn't really tell anything about the cullen family/twilight plot, more like about love. LOL.
Well you friend is a cutie, but that video! OMG. It reminds me of the projects my roomie did in college.

There's an official Twilight fan band...? I'm surprised, but then again I'm not.
Well, we've always thought Ross was "dazzling" so I suppose it's appropriate that in this video he really gets to sparkle - literally! ;)
Wow. I ... really am quite speechless. I guess it was onlyl a matter of time. I know that guy's your friend but I couldn't help but giggle at the Twilight-y scenes in the video. Good for him though! :D haha

I'm a Wizard Rock fan. I love some of the Harry Potter music. But Twilight music? Come on! I loved the series, but I don't want to listen to music about it!
I say this, and in some months I'll probably be listening to it. I'm weird like that. But for now I'll stick with my Ministry of Magic and The Parselmouths, thankyouverymuch.
