December.
Crazy, right? With my first semester of grad school about to end, I'm excited to have more time on my hands (that is, for three weeks until classes start up again). I want to write, really write, and read for fun. To celebrate my temporary freedom (and also to let me reminisce a bit), I've decided to join in on Gwen Bell's challenge. I'm very excited. So, today's topic.
Best Trip of 2009
Well, this one's a bit obvious, now isn't it?

Going to London with Samir was amazing. Next summer his friend is getting married there and I really hope we can afford to go back. Maybe this time I'll leave my fake British accent at home.
Naah.

I thought I might take the challenge along with you. Best trip of 2009 - the drive to Seattle. There's nothing like driving across the country during the summer.
I'm doing the challenge too. :D
Happy December!
It has been probably 15 or more years since I've been to London, but I actually had to work there for about six weeks. I didn't have to pay a dime, and I got to play in the evenings and weekends with a girlfriend/work colleague. I need to get back there. I hope you can go back next summer!
Oh, I love London! I moved to Canada the year they were constructing the London Eye so I've never actually been on it, but it looks amazing :)
Happy December to you!
I've never been to London (or England before!) and all your posts this summer made me want to travel! It sounded like a dream, and I hope you get to go back soon!
I'm still so jealous you got to go to London! I really really want to visit. It's just too expensive for my part time teaching gig....
