I, too, love 'Mad Men.' I think what makes Draper and many of the other characters on that show so appealing is that they actually are multifaceted, like real people.<br /><br />It's pretty easy to have characters on most shows/movies more or less "figured out" after a couple episodes/a few minutes of screen time these days, but with Draper, you still find him something of a puzzlement after two full seasons, and while you can't condone much of his behavior, you nevertheless find yourself cheering for the guy because he's REAL. He's brooding and duplicitous and an at times an absolute wretch, but it's all genuine--and, also like most people, he does have his redeeming moments.<br /><br />And, of course, he's an absolute badass. :)<br /><br />As for Lloyd...that little guy's great, too! I don't think 'Entourage' would be at all watchable now if it weren't still for the Ari/Lloyd interplay.<br /><br />Kudos, also, on both of the list's honorable mentions. A fictional version of oneself is nevertheless a fictional character!<br /><br />Wow, I've written a lot.
