Blogger Swap Day (Pt 2)

Today I'm over at SomewhatVoluble talking about the time I moved from NY to FL. Check it out! And in the meantime, meet my blog swap partner Megan!

Let's start with the introductions: I'm Megan, and I blog over at SomewhatVoluble.com. I'm a twenty-year-old married to a complex boy.

That boy (aka Husband or Josh over at my blog) doesn't understand blogging (even though he once had a Xanga -- which was how we met.) When I say, "Husband, I got twenty comments today." He's just all, "Umm, okay..." with this confused look on his face. I try to explain it in his terms. He belongs to so many forums--mostly about cars. "Okay, basically you write about things you're interested in, and other people comment about it, giving you feedback." Yeah, he still doesn't understand the concept of blogging. Needless to say, he plugs his ears when I begin to talk about blog friends and what so-and-so write on her blog today. So what if we're at Olive Garden and people are looking at me.

It's kind of like when I went through that Twilight obsession. Yeah, I was one of those. Late last year, I read all of the books in about a week, and I was so in love with Edward. I would try telling Husband what was going on in the books, and he would pretend he didn't know me while we were walking around the mall.

Don't even get me started on my obsession with Etsy. He has stopped questioning why I get a package in the mail every single day. I have random paper items all over our room for the card-making I wanted to do months ago.

In return, I ignore the questions from him. The "What in the world did I get myself into?" questions. Luckily, he still loves me. I think.

Don't worry, I was one of those Twilight obsessed 20-somethings too.

My Hubby also has no clue about blogging. He doesn't even want to learn. He thinks I'm a lil loco when I talk about my bloggy friends. Oh, well. His loss!!

Ha! The last guy I dated called Twitter "titter," and constantly asked about the "hot vampire chicks" in my Twilight books were.

Boys.
